AI Hackathon to Be Held in Dhaka by Vivasoft
Vivasoft Limited is set to host a professional AI Hackathon on January 25-26 at its head office in Banani, Dhaka. The hackathon will be conducted in three phases, allowing participants to first present their ideas, then demonstrate prototypes, and finally solve real-life challenges within a given timeframe.
Interested participants must register online by December 20. Teams must be self-formed and submit their ideas during the registration process.
According to the organizers, teams selected in the first phase will need to bring their ideas to life. They will be given three weeks to work on their projects, after which ten teams will be chosen for the final round. The selected teams will participate in an on-site hackathon, where judges will provide feedback on their projects. Based on the feedback, the teams will refine their projects and present updated versions within 36 hours.
The winning team will be awarded BDT 200,000, while the runner-up will receive BDT 100,000.
Shafqat Asif, Co-founde of Vivasoft Limited, stated that both professionals and students can participate in the hackathon. She emphasized that registration is free and open to AI professionals, developers, technologists, university students, recent graduates, startups, and innovative teams.
